今日、楽しい谷小学校にうかがった日だ。その前、委員会で働いた。委員会で１０月３０日のハロウェンパーティーについて準備した。シグニーの両親と道の駅で昼食を食べた。午後、みなと一緒に谷小学校で教えで行った。パウラはハープが取ってきた。たいていの児童はハープのことが見て聞いたことがないから皆さんはとてもよろしかった。放課後、ピックルボールの準備を終わりました。楽しいピックルボールをしました！

Today we went to the always fun Tani Elementary School. Before that though, I worked at the Board of Education (BoE). At the BoE I prepared for the Halloween Party on 10/30. I ate lunch with Signe's parents at the roadside dinner. In the afternoon we taught at Tani Elementary School together. Paula brought her harp with her. For most of the students, it was the first time they ever heard or saw a harp, so everyone was very happy. After school we finished preparing the pickleball court. Then, we played some fun pickleball!

How big was the harp? I can't believe they would bring a full size harp to Japan...

Did she bring the exploding knitting needle too? I would travel with THAT on me all the time (you know, as a conversation starter).
