N.A.Q. (Never Asked Questions)

Let me just answer a couple questions you will never ask, but might think about:

Q: What IS the Trev Report?
A: The Trev Report is a monthly (well, it tries to be monthly at least) e-mail I send out to anybody that wants to read it talking about what I am up to, my life, the things I am currently doing, etc. Basically it is the way I keep in touch with people, so please feel free to sign up!

Q: Wait. Isn't that just a blog? But you have a blog, too.
A: Well, I started the Trev Report long before I even knew what a blog was, in 1996. My blog is a little different. I use it as a way to practice writing and translating Japanese to English. I still write the Trev Report, of course, but for those very few people that actually are interested in a bilingual day-by-day account of my life, it's there for all to see.

Q: How can I get on/off the Trev Report list?
A: There are two ways to do this, either through the web at: www.topica.com/lists/trevreport, or through e-mail. To subscribe through e-mail send a BLANK message to: trevreport-subscribe@topica.com, to unsubscribe send a BLANK message to trevreport-unsubscribe@topica.com.

Q: Why is there an Impressionist painting on your About Me page?
A: Well, I love Impressionists, and this one reminds me of my wife, Signe. So I like to have it there, besides it looks nice.

Q: What is that symbol on the top right corner of your pages?
A: That is the lowercase Greek letter 'phi,' it is also the lowercase 'j' in the Symbol font, it stands for jumex, my handle.

Q: Nice site! Can I steal your code?
A: You betcha! The magic all happens in the CSS file. I also have a page template to use. I also recommend these sites: glish.com/css/, Listamatic, BigNoseBird.Com's SSI Page, Robots Exclusion, and a Comprehensive guide to .htaccess. They were a real big help when I was making this site.
