Today was 9^th grader Jane Doe's birthday. She is quite the character, so having class with her is always fun. But today's class was more serious. We had a practice test for the upcoming High School Entrance Exam that is coming up. I really like this year's 9^th graders. I think they will become great high school students. In the afternoon I went to a Tani Ladies Group International Communication Meet-up. I talked to the elderly ladies of the Tani area about America and showed them my wedding pictures. I spoke non-stop Japanese for about 2 hours. It was awesome!

今日、3年生の〇〇〇ちゃんの誕生日です。彼女はいつも面白いので、授業はいつも楽しいです。だけど、もうすぐ高校入学試験があるので、今日のクラスはまじめにプレテストを取りあげました。本当に今年度の3年生が好きですよ。みんなは高校生になるときもがんばってください。午後、谷婦人会国際交流会に行きました。谷地区のおばあさんたちにアメリカについて話したり、結婚式の写真を見せたり、しました。約2時間、ずっと日本語だけをしゃべりました。とってもよかったですよ！
