all about what I have been up to in the last month or so.
Now on with the report!
Well, February is Signe's birthday month and St. Valentine's
month, so we had some good times. I got her some lavender
perfume, etc. It was good.
Signe has been real busy this month. Work has picked up a
lot for her and her mom as down for her birthday as well.
Work is coming along. I am currently working on our mail
program (iambic Mail) full time. It should be released
sometime within the next couple weeks with enhanced
usability and a bunch of new features.
There is still a lot of work to do ion it, but it is looking
really nice. I got the MIME parsing to be pretty fast which
was my big victory for last week (thanks to Lee for forcing
me to read through all the MIME RFCs ^_^).
No-Name is coming along swimmingly. We continually get
around 60-70 people each month. Next month we are showing
Shaolin Soccer, which is a live action Chinese show that is
very cool. If you are in the area, I urge you to come and
FanimeCon is ramping up now that we are T-2 months. The last
general staff meeting was packed with people and things are
starting to come together with that.
As for stuff I am watching, I spent most of last month play
Phantom of Inferno, a DVD Game that Warner bought in Japan.
It was pretty fun to play, but very long.
I am currently rewatching Romeo's Blue Skies, which is the
World Masterpiece Theater piece from 1995. Very cool stuff
Recently saw Read Or Die 3 as well, I am very much looking
forward to them making a new OVA series of that soon.
So as some of you know, I have started getting into the game
of Go, and I have started attending the Sunnyvale Go Club on
Tuesday nights. In fact last Tuesday I won my very first
game of Go ever (although with a fair amount of help).
It is really fun playing something with other people like
this. I love watching anime, but there is something fun
about playing a game with other people as well. More
interaction, I suppose. ^_^
Here is something to celebrate, as of today Signe and I
officially are free of credit card debt! It took us about ¾
of a year, but we did it! This is a big weight off my
Well that is about it for this month. Nothing much new
happening around here these days, but if and when they are,
you all will be sure to know about it.
